The Jug
Parable
A jug, transparent as air.
Filled with water, its temperature varies.
Regardless of tea in the filter, the water flows through.
Tea is found, and is placed into the filter.
Slowly, the temperature rises.
The water slowly starts to sprout swirls of tea.
Over time, the temperature rises more.
The water becomes saturated with the tea.
Soon, the water is no longer transparent.
The color becomes dark.
The flavor becomes bitter.
There was no control of the temperature. The clarity of the water was lost.
