The 'Galactic Coalition Navy'

Desperate times it seems call for desperate measures, as this evening Chief of State Tania Felthark, Peoples representative Mao Toobrinsan and Chaf Regent Samael Nuruodo announce a symbolic and military union that will temporarily unite the three galactic power houses in the fight against the apparent ‘Imperial’ Forces responsible for the attacks on Bastion and Mygeeto.

The ‘Galactic Coalition Navy’ will begin pooling technologies and other resources to develop strategies to combat the fleet while their motives remain unknown. It is hoped that the combined efforts of these governments will be able to prevent atrocities on such scale from occurring again.

The Planet Mygeeto falls victim to the ‘Imperial Fleet’ just twenty four galactic standard hours after the attack on Bastion. Millions are feared dead…

Mygeeto has become the second planet to incur the wrath of the apparently Imperial fleet. A Large number of Star Destroyer class vessels dropped out of Hyperspace at 0700 hours local time, the first of which flew into the atmosphere on a collision course with the capital city Jygat killing millions in seconds.

The Planet Bastion

Reports from the Braxant Sector this morning confirmed the shocking news that the Galactic Alliance Naval training facility located on the Planet Bastion has been destroyed. All 17,000 GA Naval personnel are believed to be dead.

The attack occurred in the early hours of the morning. Long range scanners confirm that a fleet of vessels with unusual Ion Engine signatures pulled out of Hyperspace before bombarding the planets surface. Read the rest of this entry »

The Yuzhan Vong vessel known as Mithra-Strohna disappeared early in 264 ABY. Over a year and a half later, the vessel has been found and recovered from wild space thanks to a chance encounter during hyperlane route plotting by a team of Corellian astrophysicists. The team alerted the Yuzhan Vong who two days later sent a team of Warriors aboard the ship to determine the fate of Mithra-Strohna’s crew.
