Coruscant – The Galactic markets will likely experience temporary losses during the next two quarters, followed by a period of prolonged economic growth, says Mr. Klaob, the presiding chairman of the Bank of Coruscant. “The recession, as we know it, will probably end by next year”, he said, but quickly added that though he believed the data “firmly supported this conclusion”, he was “cautious” to warn that it will be many years before the economy would be fully healthy again.

CORELLIA – Inner Rim diplomats expressed concerns today as the space debris crisis worsens rapidly. While Strategic Space Maintenance (SSM) teams have been deployed to capture some of the rubble, experts say that over ninety percent of it has been broken down into such fine quantities that it is difficult to detect, let alone clean up properly.

Shaildka’s bill proves successful as Podracing is legalized in the GA after a majority vote within the senate yesterday.

Yesterday the senate approved the legalization of Podracing with a 67.3% vote of approval. Senator Shaildka of Malastare, who had originally lobbied for this action is “Delighted with the news” telling GHN;

“I am more than pleased with how this vote turned out. I look forward to making Podracing the exciting sport it was centuries ago.”

San Hill VII Resigns after Galactic Credit plummets.

For the first time in over a century, the Galactic Credit is down by more than 8 Percent. The unprecedented fall, at 15 Percent, could cost many financial district workers their jobs. The senior partner at The Bank of Coruscant,  Mr San Hill VII from Muunilist, has resigned after issuing the following public apology;

Some serious mistakes have been made over the last five years that have lead to this difficult situation. Many of those mistakes were made under my watch. I have no excuses but hope that in time, history will tell both sides of the story and recognise that these mistakes were made under exceptionally difficult circumstances. That is all.
