Ray Scan of the Crash Site

A transport caravan was targeted yesterday in an apparent act of terrorism. Fortunately for the crew and the 900 passengers the quick thinking of two Jedi prevented disaster as the pair forced a crash landing on the slag covered world of Old Humbarine. The cockpit of the vessel was destroyed in the landing and one of the Jedi was killed in the impact, however minimal injuries were sustained by the passengers. The feat has been widely hailed as ‘a small miracle’ by the GA Relief Squad.

Mystery surrounds the discovery of a crippled GA vessel as 2/3 of the crew are unaccounted for…

GHN can exclusively reveal that the Galactic Alliance hid the loss of one of its ships three days ago. Contact with the Scythe class vessel operating in the Subterrel Sector was lost and it took the fleet a further 48 galactic standard hours to recover the ship.

The fires on the Ugnaught Surface of Bespin after Cloud City fell two days ago finally burned out shortly after midnight local time on 259.18. Pocket fires populating the ruins and remains of the once proud city had prevented rescue workers, salvage teams and investigators from recovering the countless bodies. Only a small portion of Cloud City struck the artificial habitat but the damage was catastrophic. The wreckage may yet provide vital clues for the investigation team. The rest of Cloud City meanwhile, plunged into the depths of Bespin and is believed to be lost forever.
