383.14 // High Council Internal Statement: Recent Events

Padawans, Knights and Masters of the Jedi Order.

I trust that you are all aware of the situation in which the Order finds itself in.

We have received news that the Holonews has received leaked GRID documents and tomorrow will run a story officially confirming a link between the 4 missing children stating

  1. That they were all indeed force sensitive.
  2. They were due for collection by the Order.

We anticipate reaction to this from the Galaxy to one of upset and anger. I ask that those Jedi on assignment to take extra precaution when facing potentially emotive situations with civilians in the Galaxy. If asked about the the children, please refer them to the forth coming official statement of the Order.

It is also with grave news, that I must inform you that there have been several other children taken. However their parents have decided to entrust the Order with the investigation and have therefor not gone public.

In order to facilitate and centralise the operation into finding the children, we have decided to appoint Rannon Praxeum as the lead branch investigating into this matter. Any information should be reported to the their Knight body. The rest of the Orders facilities and enclaves will continue to assist to the best of their abilities.

A public statement will be forth coming from Order in the coming days.

I would ask that your final thoughts on this message turn to the children who are currently lost to us and the critical mission ahead of us to bring them home safely.

382.02 // The Jedi Order has decreed searches to the Outer-Rim

After thorough investigation within the Outer-Rim and many micro-occurrences leading to an overwhelming influx of crime travelling south into wild space it is believed that the Jedi Council has given orders to increase Jedi presence in that particular region of the Galaxy.

This particular report focuses on a pair of Jedi were sent to the planet of Jutrand, based in the Outer-Rim.

Video evidence has been recovered from the planet revealing a hooded man with a lightsaber being chased down by the pair of Jedi trying to apprehend him. It is not clear whether this man is acting alone, or is residual part of the Imperium Remnant. The Jedi Council has declined to comment, simply commenting that search parties have already been sent to travel through wild space to bring assurances to the residents of the outer-rim.

Meanwhile, it is Holonews belief that all Jedi within Wild-Space or the Outer-Rim have been given a warning of caution when dispatched on any assignment within these area’s.

377.30 // The Jedi Order expands, new Praxeums on Bacrana, Lyta and Radra IV

Following decades of rebuilding from the disasterous Imperium Wars and Plague, the Jedi Order finally unveils its completed plans to expand the so-called ‘Outposts’ of the Order into fully fledged Praxeums, with their own Jedi Councils and active fleet of Jedi Knights and Students. One of the newly elected Councillors from the Lyta Praxeum, Jinx Choncoban, had this to say:

“Not only am I proud to be brought onto the Council of this Praxeum, but I take pride in the fact that with this training equipment and new set of walls, the Knights of this Temple and myself will undertake the greatest challenge and service that we Jedi can do. That is, to train, to teach and to hopefully, bring the next generation of younglings to a point where they may help the Galaxy in ways we cannot yet imagine. Not only are we thankful for the Jedi, such as the late Duncan Therin, who helped to create this Outpost and now Temple, but to the Order as a whole for allowing us this expansion. One day, we hope the Jedi to be as large as it once was, and to help the Galaxy as it is truly meant to, in size and in strength.”

While some in the Galaxy have differing opinions of the Jedi, several locals near the new Praxeums had only kind things to say about the Jedi living there. Many referred to them as “helpful” or “kind”, but many were worried that in the future, with the increasing number of Jedi, there may be more trouble. One citizen of Bacrana, Boono Unan, critically referred to the Jedi as “bringers of trouble”, but did acknowledge that when they do their job right, it is often for the benefit of the people they are protecting.
